What is TORO Server?​

TORO Server is a 24-hour, creative-focused Japanese Minecraft server that has been in operation since 2017!
Our key feature is freedom! You can create anything you want as long as it adheres to the rules.
You can also use TORO Server as an alternative to a single-player creative world.
Additionally, you can apply to use WorldEdit, a powerful tool to assist with your constructions, via Discord or other designated methods!

Rules and Terms of Service​

Definitions​

By using this service, you agree to all of the Terms of Service.

Definitions​

In the following text:

  • "The Service" refers to TORO SERVER, which oversees the Minecraft server “TORO SERVER”, the “Official TORO SERVER Discord”, and the “Official TORO SERVER Wiki”.
  • "The Server" specifically refers to the Minecraft server “TORO SERVER”.
  • "The Official Discord" refers to the “Official TORO SERVER Discord”.
  • "The Official Wiki" refers to the “Official TORO SERVER Wiki”.
Positions​

The positions within TORO SERVER, from highest to lowest authority, are: Owner, Administrator, Moderator, and Supporter.

  • Owner: Only the server owner, toropon, holds this title.
  • Administrator (Admin): Understands the philosophy of this service and is entrusted with some of the Owner's privileges.
  • Moderator (Mod): Has been delegated some authority to ensure the stable operation of the service.
  • Supporter (Sup): Is responsible for assisting the management team with simple correspondence, information gathering, and reporting to management.

Owner, Admin, and Mod are considered members of the Management Team. Management Team members may participate in Management Meetings.

Protection​

In the server, any creation, construction, or building made by a player is referred to as a "creation," and the completed entity is defined as a "work of art."
"Protection" refers to the restriction of building within an area using the "WorldGuard" plugin. Areas with building restrictions are defined as "protections."
A protection has Owners and Members. Owners of a protection have full authority over all creations within their owned protection (even if they were created by others). This means they can remove, relocate, or alter any creations within their protection at will.

Server Rules​

  • The following actions may result in a ban (suspension of service).
  • In addition, in the case of malicious acts, a shared ban with the affiliated server (Milkyway MC) may also be imposed, and the use of the service on the affiliated server may be suspended.
    • Acts of destroying or altering other people's creations (including towns) without permission.
    • Acts that protect other people's creations without permission.
    • Acts of reproducing other people's creations without permission.
    • Sexual or discriminatory creations.
    • Acts of protecting a large scale for no reason
    • Acts of continuously making a large number of statements in server chat (chat spamming)
    • Violation of Japanese laws and regulations
    • Speech or verbal abuse that may be perceived as sexual, discriminatory, or slanderous
    • Threatening, oppressing, or pressuring another person
    • Harassing or excluding specific players without just cause.
    • Responding to trolls other than by reporting them.
    • Posting dangerous URLs in chat rooms.
    • Excessive requests for personal information from others.
    • Teaching without being asked to do so
    • Abusing cheat mods.
    • Creating a large number of MOBs and leaving them unattended.
    • Making persistent requests.
    • Actions that bring down the honor or trust of this server
    • Stalking another person
    • Confining another person.
    • Logging in with an illegally obtained account.
    • Promoting or soliciting other Minecraft servers within this service.
    • Actions that place an excessive burden on the server
    • Other acts that are deemed malicious by the management.
  • If a user of the Service commits any of the following acts outside of the Service, the user may be subject to a ban (suspension of service) or other measures.
    • Actions that violate Japanese laws and regulations
    • Sexual, discriminatory, or slanderous remarks or abusive language
    • Threatening, oppressing, or pressuring another person
    • Harassing or excluding specific players without just cause
    • Excessive requests for personal information from others
    • Persistent requests for information.
    • Teaching without being asked to do so.
    • Disrepute or discredit this server
    • Stalking) another person
    • Soliciting on TORO Servers on other servers where such solicitation is prohibited.
    • Multiple voting for Japan Minecraft Servers using multiple accounts.
    • Other acts deemed malicious by the management.
  • All penalties will be applied to each account, regardless of the specific player using it.

Java Edition 1.20.4
While you can connect using Minecraft versions other than Java Edition 1.20.4, please be aware that this may cause bugs or compatibility issues.

What to do if your building is grieved?​

If your building has been vandalized or modified without your permission, you can check the logs. Run the command /co i, then click on the location of the vandalism or modification. This will show you the time and the offending user's log.
(You can disable log check mode by executing /co i again.)
Once confirmed, submit a screenshot of the location and its logs, along with the offending user's ID, to the official Discord server's dedicated vandalism reporting thread (#荒らし通報). After submitting the report, a rollback or other corrective action will be taken by the management team.
If you are unable to use Discord, please report the vandalism in the Minecraft server chat to an Administrator or a supporter (a user with a prefix of [Sup], [Mod], [Admin], or [Owner]).

Please do not make noise, fight back against the perpetrator, or otherwise provoke them. Doing so may result in punishment for yourself.

This channel is used for announcements related to server operations and important information.

You can advertise anything related to the server here, such as events or railroad openings.

Anything goes here, not just Minecraft-related topics.
#一般②
For general discussion on any topic. We have two general channels to avoid congestion and confusion.
#無法地帯
Initially, this channel is not visible to new members. You can view and post by submitting an application. It's a place to discuss topics that may not be suitable for public viewing.
#画像
An image posting thread. Feel free to share images of your builds or scenery you've discovered on the server.
#メインサーバー
You can view the in-game server chat here. It's also possible to write messages from Discord, as this channel is linked directly to the server.

Specific channels by field​

These channels are dedicated to specific in-server negotiations and showcases, rather than strict topic quarantines. For discussions about real-life hobbies, we recommend using #一般① or #一般②.

Used for meetings and presentations related to laying out railroads, roads, and other transportation infrastructure.
#都市開発
Used for meetings and presentations concerning urban development projects.
#研究室
Used for discussions and development related to server plugins and other technical aspects.
#To_Do
A channel for listing your tasks or to-do items, such as "to build a railroad" or "to construct a building."
#軍事
Used for military-related negotiations and announcements within the server.

Use this channel to report unauthorized modification or vandalism of buildings.

Contact us here for other suspected server rule violations (e.g., chat spamming).
